TAP Scholarship Process and Application – Transfer Alliance Program

April	Mid April The TAP Scholarship application is finalized for students enrolling in the following year. Mid to late April TAP Community College Council Members (Directors/Coordinators, Counselors, and Program Staff) are notified via e-mail that the TAP Scholarship materials (calendar and publicity flyer) are available on the website. Mid to late April All students who apply for Fall admission and have been accepted are e-mailed a letter inviting them to apply for the TAP scholarship. This mailing timeframe is tentative and depends on the Undergraduate Admission Office’s schedule.
June	Friday, June 2, 2023, 11:59 p.m. Deadline to submit the TAP Scholarship application and supporting materials, such as letters of recommendation from TAP Directors, Counselors and Faculty, to the UCLA Scholarship Resource Center (SRC) via the UCLA Scholarship portal. Late June to mid-July The UCLA College TAP Scholarship Committee meets to select candidates for each division – Humanities, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Social Sciences.
July – August	By Friday, July 28, 2023 Applicants are notified of their status – those who receive a scholarship as well as those who do not. Mid August Community College Presidents are notified via email of all TAP Scholarship recipients. Copied on these letters are the Community College TAP Council Members – Directors, Counselors, and Program Staff.
